Why does Chef sound weird in season 10?
Chef's voice is composed of audio clips of his voice from various episodes purposely spliced up poorly. This is intentional to make him sound out of his mind, as Isaac Hayes quit after allegedly being offended by the episode "Trapped in the Closet" which mocked Scientology, a religion he was a member of.
